Day 1: Arrive Siem Reap (../../D)
After welcome by our tour guide at the airport, we will transfer to the Hotel. At the end of the day, you will free at your leisure to enjoy the nightlife of Siem Reap. Overnight stay in Siem Reap.
Day 2: Siem Reap – Cycling tour (B/../..)
After breakfast, we depart from the hotel on bicycle to head on to the South Gate of Angkor Thom to discover the ramparts (6 km long) of this old city. We still are covered by the jungle to get to the tower of the 4 faces, the Bayon temple. We proceed to Visit of Angkor Thom, the great royal city. In the afternoon, we will visit the 7th world heritage of Angkor Wat. The tour guide will take you through the galleries to show you their stunning bas-reliefs, which depict scenes from the epic Ramayana and the Churning of the Ocean of Milk. Overnight stay in Siem Reap.
Day 3: Conecting Culture Tour – Homestay (B/../..)
After breakfast at the hotel, we drive beyond the Angkor Complex through the Preah Dark village to the intricately carved and well-preserved Ba nteay Srey temple. Afterward, we go on to visit the Kbal Spean. We trek about 45 minutes through the forest to the top of the hill to reach Kbal Spean, the "Thousand Linga River. We will discover the 10th-12th century sculptures chiseled into the rocky riverbed, the Royal Bath and the waterfall. After that, you will depart to your home stay in the nearby local village. You will meet the host of family and learn about their daily life. The next, we continue cycling in through country side to visit the marvelously restored Bantey Samre which was built in the third quarter of the 12th century. It consists of a central temple with four wings preceded by a hall and accompanied by two libraries, the southern example remarkably well preserved. Two concentric walls enclose the ensemble. If we have time, we will move to visit school village and discovering seasonal farming methods and other daily activities of local people. Walking through rural communities, we will meet local families, and learn mat weaving and making traditional palm-leaf cakes boxes or we will visit a local market to see the diversity of fresh countryside products. After refreshing up, you will participate to a cooking for your dinner. Overnight stay at your home – stay.
Day 4: Siem Reap – Beong Mealea – Ton Le Sap (B/L/D)
Breakfast at your home- stay, we will drive to the remote Beng Mealea temple through the typical Khmer countryside (60 km from Siem Reap). We will explore the long abandoned temple (11th century), strangled by the jungle. In the afternoon, we drive down to Tonle Sap the Great Lake of Cambodia. We will board a boat and visit the Kampong Kleang floating village. We can see floating houses, farms, schools, shops and even a floating hospital. Afterward, we will visit of other floating villages to observe the fishing technique, fishpond and crocodile breeding. We bivouac in the village.
Day 5: Siem Reap – Battambang (B/../..)
Arriving Battambang, we will express check in for refreshing up at the hotel. In the late afternoon, we can see charming riverside town full of French-colonial architecture. Even though Battambang is Cambodia's second largest city, you will find that the atmosphere is very laid-back and a big change from the capital city. Overnight stay in Battambang.
Day 6: Battambang (B/../..)
After breakfast, we will visit O-Dambang Village and try to taste seasonal fruit at house of native family and then walk through the village to observe their daily life. We continue to visit temple Banon (11-12 Century). We will have the picnic Lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Baset temple and try to sit on Train Bamboo (local construction moved by Motobike engine for transfer local people for small distance 15-20 Km vice versa). Overnight stay in Battambang.
Day 7: Battambang - Phnom Penh (B/../..)
Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, we express check in for refreshing up at the hotel. In the afternoon, we will visit Toul Sleng museum (S21-Genocide Museum) and Independent monument then panoramic view of the city. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 8: Cycle tour in Phnom Penh (B/../..)
In the morning, we will depart by Cyclo to visit the Royal Palace with the Silver Pagoda, National Museum with its collection of pre-Angkorian and Angkorian sculptures and Wat Phnom, the original name of the Capital of Cambodia. After lunch, we continue to visit Apsara dance school association). We will meet and talk to a teacher who will show and explain about the school and backstage works. We will stroll through the bustling Central Market which is renowned for its Art Deco architecture. Overnight stay in Phnom Penh.
Day 9: Phnom Penh – Takeo (B/../..)
After breakfast, we will visit Choeung Ek (Killing field-during Pol Pot regime) and then en route visit the beautiful Angkorian temple of Ta Prohm at Tonle Bati Lake. After lunch at local restaurant, we take a boat ride along an ancient canal to Angkor Borei town and Phnom Da, dating from the time before Angkor. Overnight stay in Takeo.
Day 10: Takeo – Kep (B/../..)
After breakfast, we go to the little town of Kompong Trach. We will stop to visit the interesting cave temple of Wat Kirisan which was built into the base of Phnom Sor. We will go through a small cave to a hidden chamber open to the elements, the sheer walls dripping with foliage. There are several hidden shrines here, as well as the cave of a thousand Rice fields, where locals claim the limestone looks like terraces. Upon arrival in Kep town, we express check-in to the hotel, relax and overnight stay in Kep.
Day 11: Kep – Bokor - Sihanoukville (B/../..)
We head up the jungle road to Bokor Hill Station to take in the incredible views and enjoy a picnic at Popokvil Waterfall. In the afternoon, we explore the crumbling buildings at Bokor before continuing to Sihanoukville. Overnight stay in Sihanoukville,.
Day 12: Sihanoukville (B/../..)
After breakfast at hotel, you will free at leisure to enjoy on the white sand beach. Overnight stay in Sihanoukville.
Optional:
You can join in group to Ream National Park to discovery its fauna and flora. After that, we can take the boat tour on the island of Bamboo with the possibility of making snorkeling (mask and snorkel available) to discover the sea bottom. Picnic barbecue will be served on deserted beaches and swimming. In late afternoon, we will back to the town to overnight.
Day 13: Sihanoukville (B/../..)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will free at your leisure to enjoy on the white sand beach. In the late afternoon, we will transfer from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh. Overnight stay in Phnom Penh.
Day 14: Phnom Penh – Departure (B/../..)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will free at leisure until transfer to Phnom Penh airport for onward flight. End of our services.
