Day 1: Arrival Siem Riep (../../..)
Upon your arrival in Siem Reap
international Airport and welcome by our guide, we will transfer to check-in at
your reserved hotel. This is the day free at your leisure to enjoy the
nightlife of Siem Reap. Overnight stay in Siem Reap.
Day 2: Angkor Complex (B/../..)
After a delicious breakfast at
the hotel, we will visit to the magnificent ancient complex of Angkor Wat, and
to Angkor Thom included South Gate of Angkor Thom with its majestic doors,
Bayon Temple, Baphuon, Terrace of the Elephant and the Terrace of Leper King
and Ta Prohm temple and other nearby temples. Ta Prohm is a wonderful experience as it has
been left to the Clements with strangler fig roofs snaking around the crumbling
walls and ancient statues of the temple. The birding in the beautiful forests
of the Angkor is a great adjunct to this experience with large congregations of
oriental Pied-Hornbill, Red-breasted and Alexandrine Parakeets, super views of
Black Baza. Numerous Asian Barred Owlets and Hill Mynas, in the drier forests
we might find Greater Flameback, Black-hooded Orioles and Hainan
Blue-Flycatchers. Lesser Adjutants can occasionally be seen flying overhead. This
whole area is alive with birds. After that, you can enjoy the nightlife of Siem
Reap. Overnight stay in Siem Reap.
Day 3: Kbal Spean with Forest Species (B/../..)
Early morning excursion with
breakfast boxed, we will go to Kbal Spean to visit the forest species bird,
such as Pied Hornbill, White Rumped Falcon, Collared Falconet, Hill Myna, Grey
Capped Pygmy Woodpecker, Black Headed Woodpecker, White Bellied Woodpecker,
Common Flameback, Greater Flameback, Heart Spotted Woodpecker, Sooty headed
BulBul and etc...Overnight stay in Siem Reap
Day 4: Prek Toal with Bird Sanctuary (water
species) (B/L/..)
Early morning excursion with
breakfast and lunch boxed to go to Prek Toal floating village of Tonle Sap.
Upon arrival, we will transit to other boat to reach the bird sanctuary. Overnight
stay in Siem Reap
Day 5: Ang Trapeng Thmor with water Species
(B/L/..)
In the morning, we drive to
westward of Siem Reap to Thai border to visit a very special reserve.
Originating as a man-made irrigation and water storage reservoir rebuilt in
1976 by slave during the Khmer Rouge Regime on the historical Angkorian
Highway, the reservoir now harbors a unique wetland associated with grassland,
Dipterocarp forests and paddy fields. Aside from being a staging ground for
more than 300 Sarus Crane in the dry (non-breeding) season, more than 200
species of other birds occur here, of which 18 have been classified as globally
or near globally threatened. This is also one of the sites in Cambodia where
the endangered Eld’s Deer can be seen. The best time to see the Sarus Crane is
from February to May though an abundance of bird species can be viewed all year.

Day 6-7: Tmat Boey (the province of Preah
Vihear)(B/L/..)
We will have an excursion in Tmat
Boey area. Tmatboey is an isolated village located in Kulen Promtep Wildlife
Sanctuary in the Northern Plains of Cambodia. It is the site of a unique
community ecotourism project established by the Ministry of Environment and the
Wildlife Conservation Society’s Cambodia Program. Access to this remote site is
coordinated exclusively through SVC. A typical trip to Tmatboey takes 3 days
and 2 nights. Overnight at village house. The best time to see the
White-shouldered Ibis is January to March, and the Giant Ibis from January to
April. The success of the project can be seen in the increased numbers of
breeding pairs and individual White shouldered Ibis.
Day 8: Kampong Thom (B/../..)
Early morning is excursion in
Tmat Boey area and then transfer to Kampong Thom. Overnight stay in Kampong
Thom.
Day 9: Florican Grassland-Kratie (B/L/..)
In the early morning, we will
pick you up from hotel and transfer to the Florican Grassland which located in
Kampong Thom province, Designated Integrated Farming and Biodiversity Areas,
the seasonally flooded grasslands of Kompong Thom and Siem Reap harbor the
largest known population of Bengal Florican in Cambodia (and likely the world).
There are several sites we visit that comprise important non-breeding grounds
for many large water birds, such as the Greater Adjutant, Painted Stork, and
Sarus Crane. We are also found in this area is potentially the largest single
concentration of over wintering Manchurian Reed Warblers. In the afternoon
transfer to Kratie. Overnight in Kratie.
Day 10: Kampot - Bokor (B/../..)
In the morning, we drive to the
North of Kratie the Mekong River flows through riverine forest and support a
rich array of nesting birds including several species of terns, waders,
swallows, large water birds and individual species such as the Pied Kingfisher
and Indian Skimmer. We will go to The Mekong Wagtail, Moctacilla samveasnea to
discover the Cambodian pioneer naturalist after whom the centre is named, is
present in low numbers all along the river. The visit to Kratie always includes
a boat trip to see the endangered Irrawaddy Dolphin and then overland to
Kampot. Overnight stay in Kampot
Day 11-12: Bokor (B/L/..)
After breakfast, we transfer to
the Bokhor National Park on the Southern coast of Cambodia to see evergreen
dwelling species in the forested slopes of the mountain. The Chestnut headed
Partridge, the key attraction is found on the plateau reached on foot.
Overnight stay in Kampot
Day 13: Kampot - Phnom Penh (B/../..)
After breakfast, you will free at
leisure until transfer to Phnom Penh international Airport for onward flight.
