Day 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai

Day 2: Lao cai - Sa pa - Ta van
Arrive at Lao cai Station at about 06.00 am, a shared bus pick up to Sapa (35km). Arrive Sapa town after about 1.5 hour. Group meeting organised by tour guide about all information related to the trek. Start trekking at 10:00 am to visit Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai with Black Hmong people. Lunch provided enroute. Keep trekking to Ta van village of the Zay people. Dinner and overnight in Ta van village. (L, D)

Day 3: Ta van - Ban Ho
After breakfast we will visit Giang Ta chai village where you meet the Red Zao people. You will have lunch on the way. After lunch continue walking to Ban ho village ,which makes home for Tay people. Dinner and O/N in Ban Ho village. If you get to Ban Ho in the early afternoon, you will have time to go on your own to swim in a nearby river.(B, L, D)

Day 4: Ban Ho - Sapa
After breakfast you trek up to Su pan hill (3km). From here you will be picked up and transfer back to Sapa, check in hotel . In the afternoon you will have time to experience the colorful Sa pa Market where women from different ethnic minority groups come into town to sell their products. O/N in Cat Cat Hotel. (B)

Day 5: Sapa - Bac Ha
Note: It depends on what date you depart from Sa pa, your home in Bac ha town but the sightseeing spots might be ranking on those mentioned sightseeing spots here with therefore make your decision before the tours:
Bac Ha Sunday Market is held every Sunday from 7:00 till 14:00 a place where all ethnic groups gather for exchanging their homemade products. Afternoon trek to an old castle of the Hmong King.
Can Cau Saturday Market is held every Saturday from 7:00 til 14:00, on smaller scale, a place where all ethnic groups gather for exchanging their home made products. Afternoon trek to an old castle of the Hmong King.
Coc Ly Tuesday Market is held every Tuesday from 7:00 till 14:00 on smaller scale, a place where all ethnic groups gather for exchanging their homemade products. A boat trip from Coc Ly Market through beautiful river and picked up to Bac Ha town. Afternoon: you will have a short trek to Ban Pho village to see the daily life of the Flower Hmong people. (B)

Day 6: Bac Ha - Ha Giang border town (240km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive through beautiful Tay village, small valley and mountains. Lunch stop at Viet Quang Town, overnight in Hotel in Ha Giang.

Day 7: Ha Giang border town - Nui Coc Lake (251km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive through beautiful Tay village, small valley and mountains. Lunch stop enroute. Arrive Nui Coc Lake is approximately at 15:30. Check in a hotel in the area. Free and easy. O/N in the town. (B)

Day 8: Thai Nguyen - Ba Be Lake (180km)
In the morning you take a boat trip on Nui Coc Lake. Leaving at 11:00 am for Ba be Lake. Arrive in Ba Be Lake is approximately at 16:00. Your home is on the lake side at Tay homestay at basic condition (mosquito net, pillowcase, soft mat, shower ... )

Day 9: Ba Be Lake - homestay
Breakfast at the homestay. Boat trip to Ba be Lake with beautiful view of the lake with different botanical spices, cruising along river to visit stunning Puong Cave, Dau Dang waterfall... Back to Tay village. O/N in homestay.

Day 10: Ba Be Lake - Hanoi (250km)
Breakfast at the homestay. Leave Ba Be at 08:00 and drive to Hanoi. Have lunch enroute. Arrive in Hanoi at 14:30. End of tour.
