It is tomorrow night (29 april) the Danang International Fireworks Competition(DIFC) 2012 will be launched. All of the preparation is completed and now just waiting for the "open fire"! Tons of fireworks, tubes and equipment of the Vietnam, Canada, China, France, Italy fireworks teams have been gathered on the port of Danang. Although the weather was fiercely hot, the working atmosphere of the fireworks teams were very urgently. The installation areas of the fireworks teams are strictly fenced to ensure the absolute safety on the principle "no duty, no access."
According to the consultant unit, already for 5 consecutive DIFCs, the annual fireworks contest in the last day of April on the Han River bank of Danang city has been famous throughout the world. There are about 4 tons of fireworks prepared for spectacular performances. Each performance will be an impressive explosion from more than 40,000 artillery tubes, lasted for about 20 minutes. The teams have prepared very carefully for their performances. They were examining very thoroughly and carefully from each firecracker, the artillery groups and artillery installation before connecting to computers programmed for performances.
The unit for the bleacher said the installation was completed ensuring timely and design techniques. The bleacher has more than 32,000 seats (increased 7,000 seats from the last DIFC), on a total area of ​​12.000m2. Every seat in the bleacher is 200kg payload.
At the same time, the functional authorities of Danang city has also implemented a series of measures to ensure the best conditions for tourists to Danang for the fireworks. Up to now, the inspection team has examined 196 of 270 operating hotels, of which 39 hotels are in violations and fined over 122 millions VND.
The Danang Urban Environment Co. LTD. has completed the installation of 84 portable toilets for the fireworks festival. In particular, the toilets focus on Danang Port and on a number of roads and areas around the bleacher. Today, the company will have installed 60 additional rubbish bins on the Han River banks and the whole stage area, ensuring environmental sanitation and urban landscape before 6pm tomorrow of fireworks.
The Health Department of Danang city and the Department of Food Hygiene and Food Safety have guidelines for ensuring food safety, food poisoning prevention, ensuring the ambulance at all times and effective treatments for the DIFC 2012.
As reported by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Danang, to strengthen the ticket control, order and security protection of the contest, the organizers have opened 7 emergency exits and 32 the ticket entrances with 550 polices, security guards, officials on duty for lines, tickets and security maintenance.
The DIFC 2012 will take place in two nights 29 and 30 april, with the participation of the five teams that are the Italian Team (Champion of the DIFC 2011), the French Team (Champion of the DIFC 2010), the China Team (the Champion of the DIFC 2009); the Canada Team (the champion of DIFC 2008) and the home team Danang - Vietnam.
The main theme of the home team is "The Colors of Danang" and will be performed on the background music praising the homeland. To create nice effects, the home team will use technology to improve the quality of the applications, accompanied by well prepared background music. The effect will create wind, fields and villages of Vietnam, interjected by the flowing cascades..
With all of those efforts, Danang is now ready for "open fire" in the DIFC 2012.
