According to latest information from Organization Board (Chien Thang Co. Ltd.), the first international balloon festivals of Vietnam - VIHABF 2012 will take place within 6 days, from 29 august - 03 september 2012. The venue for the festival is the area opposite to the golf course Sealink of Phu Hai ward, Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province. The Organization Board also informed that VIHABF 2012 will bring together approximately 20-30 balloons with different shapes and colors from different countries such as Indonesia, France, Korea, China, Belgium, Japan.. The International Balloon festival 2012 is considered a highlight of the Culture, Sports and Tourism profession of Binh Thuan province in 2012. Currently, the preparations are steadily to complete, to ensure that the first international balloon festival in Vietnam will run well, open unique recreation space in the sky of Phan Thiet city and introduce a new sport to those who love the free flying with balloons in Vietnam.
According to the Organization Board, if successful, the international balloon festival will be held annually in Vietnam.
